Acts of a Random Thought

For too long our communities have been plagued by crime and violence.  But the most signicant issue within the black community issue of literacy.  Many of our elders are not able to enjoy a Sunday afternoon and read the paper due to illiteracy and lack of confidence in their reading ability.  It is very important that our youth are exposed to books and that we take the time to ensure their comprehension of what has been read.   Below are a list of St. Louis  Area authors and titles of their books that are leading the way in our battle to enhance literacy and resurrect the village in the community.  Click on each link and find out more about each author and the work.  If you like what you see don't be shy, go ahead and order your very own copy as we continue to encourage Literacy across the World.
