My first entry to Reality Speaks is addressed to all of my sisters, no matter what your racial make-up may be, or your social background.  I hope you can relate to "Laundry Day Panties"

Hey Ladies,

I know you all are looking at the subject line and are thinking, ?What the hell is Chasity thinking?. Well, here goes?this is what goes on in my mind sometimes. LOL

How many of you have ever felt like you were being pushed to the side for something ?better? and then picked up again when ?better? was gone?? Many of us, I am sure. Think about it like this?

At the end of 2 weeks when all your ?cute? panties are dirty, and you have NO CHOICE but to do laundry (but you have no more cute panties to put on)?you have to look in the back of your drawer for those ?laundry day panties?. The ones you don?t want NOBODY to see. The elastic is gone, maybe have some cycle stains (I am just keeping it real), and maybe even a tear or two?but they ARE the most comfortable ones you have.

People can be treated the same way. Examples:

Your man continuously HAS to kick it with the boys (his pretty panties). He HAS to play basketball every other night, he HAS to go play PLAYSTATION over so and so?s house. His friends are having a get together and everyone is invited?but you. He tells you it is just for the guys?WHATEVER. But when his boys get ?booed? up with someone, THEN he wants to go to dinner with you (laundry day panties). Cuddle on the couch. Rub your back?etc. When he could have been hanging with you (wearing) all along, but eventually you get tired of that treatment.

The chick you THINK is your friend, always ?forgets? to call you to go out. When there are upbeat, get your stilettos on kind of parties, she only calls her other girls (she puts her cute panties on). She sends them texts inviting them to places, eats at the finest restaurants with them, shopping, traveling?u name it. But the moment one of the ?cute panties? squeezes her just a little too tight (pisses her off) or they are unavailable when she needs them?she calls you (laundry day panty girl). She wants to cry on your shoulder and tell you her woos. She wants you to come over and watch movies?spend time INDOORS (don?t want anybody to see the laundry day panties outside for real). B!tch please.

Don?t be someone?s ?laundry day panties?. And don?t treat anyone like yours. Those are the best panties in the world. Comfortable, affordable and there when you need them the most. But if you only take them out every now and then when YOU need THEM?eventually you cant find them anymore?or your fat @$$ done out grown them and they hurt to high hell when you put them on. Don?t treat people like they don?t matter in your life. Remember, other people don?t care about who you hang with, what your man looks like or for that matter?what panties you have on. Your man doesn?t care about your panties as long as he is going to get some?and your friends don?t care about your panties as long as you don?t have on hers!!
